Mech Charge stops false alarms that frustrate customers and discourage staff

Mech Charge - a simple, attractive, cost effective system to display, secure and charge consumer electronics.

You may have experienced this - enter a retail store, walk up to a displayed Smartphone, iPhone or Tablet and pick it up.  The alarm goes off and everyone's head in the store turns to you - your face turns red and you leave the retailer with a negative impression, embarrassed and feeling like a common criminal.

The store staff quickly becomes jaded and loses confidence in the noise making annoyance and ultimately unplugs the loss prevention system rendering it useless.

RTF creates retail environments where embarrassment and nuisances are stopped and positive customer experiences lead to long term and happy clients.

Mech Charge secures Apple, Android, Blackberry and Mobile 7 Smartphones by clamping an aluminum reinforced claw around the wireless devices gripping the handset as well as securing the battery.

The aircraft cable Recoiler uses a thick, 3mm diameter cable that makes cable cutting with scissors impossible and still allows an enjoyable customer interaction while holding the Smartphone.

The iPad, Tablet and Smartphone not only is mechanically secured but also it is fully charged and a red LED is illuminated to create the impression of an active alarm system.

Today professional thieves enter retail stores with tools in order to steal expensive consumer electronics and after severing the cable an alarm serves only as an alert that the merchandise has been stolen. Staff safety is much more important than the attempt at retrieving a Smartphone.

Innovative Retail Shoplifting Security is presented to the WORLD at EuroShop 2011

RTF is introduced to the world... and the World says "wunderbar"

Düsseldorf was home for RTF during the 2011 EuroShop exhibition in Germany.  For five days RTF impressed the world with its new Alarm Charge technology for securely displaying and protecting Smartphones, iPads, Tablets, iPods, GPS and handheld gaming systems like Nintendo and PSPs.

The Alarm Charge retail shop security solution not only perfectly displays the consumer electronics attracting attention and converting sales but achieves it in a way that is pure innovation.

Most of the world suppliers of anti-theft loss prevention solutions design retail theft devices that all look and operate very similarly. During EuroShop both retailers, designers and shop fitters commented that the RTF system was a new fresh trend and felt that it was a long time coming. One German Telco agreed the system looked as if it were German designed and commented "Wunderbar".

The RTF power and alarm solution also caught the eye of industry competition who were welcomed into the booth for a full demonstration resulting in all jaws dropping after the pre theft, aircraft cable cut test.

The Canadian contingent of Blackberry, Adflow, Jump.ca and RTF showed Europe Canada’s innovation and how Canadian companies continue to lead. The interactive display drew a lot of attention through the lift+Touch digital media interactivity that spotlighted the latest Blackberry Smartphones powered and both mechanically and electronically secured by RTF's Alarm Charge anti-shoplifting system.

After EuroShop 2011 RTF participated in an historic carnival hundreds of years old – Altweiberfastnacht.

Altweiberfastnacht or “Women’s Carnival” commences when women storm City Hall and cut men’s ties in exchange for a kiss. These festivities continue and locals and tourists roam the streets of old Düsseldorf in costumes drinking copious amount of Bräu.

During this years retail trade exhibition in Germany RTF made many new industry friends, met with many European customers and formed many new alliances with partners. We look forward to returning to EuroShop in 2014 with the goal of being one of the global, market leaders.
